Juanma Moreno, President of Andalusia, has confirmed new tax reductions for Andalusia.

The wealth tax is eliminated from tax year 2022, but declarations must still be filed with a 100% tax deduction. This applies to both resident and non-resident individuals. So far, only Madrid and Andalusia have eliminated this tax.

Income tax has also been reduced in Andalusia by several percentage points.

Together with previously introduced tax reductions, for example on property transfers, inheritance and gift tax, the government aims to make Andalusia economically attractive to attract more residents.
