The president of Andalusia, Juanma Moreno, confirmed yesterday what applies from December 12th in Andalucía.

Summary:

1. Period 1 applies from December 12th to 17th, both days inclusive.

– Free movement within the province. If you live in Málaga, for example, you can move freely within the Málaga province but cannot travel to other provinces without valid reasons. Make sure to double-check which province you belong to.

– Businesses may remain open until 9:00 PM.

– Restaurants and cafes may remain open until 6:00 PM.

– Curfew between 10:00 PM – 7:00 AM.

2. Period 2 applies from December 18th to January 10th, both days inclusive.

– Free movement within the Andalucía region. However, perimeter quarantine remains in effect in the region, meaning travel in or out of Andalucía is not permitted without valid reasons.

– Businesses may return to their regular opening hours.

– Restaurants may open from morning until 6:00 PM, then from 8:00 PM – 10:30 PM.

– Cafes may open from morning until 10:30 PM. They do not need to close like restaurants between 6-8 PM. However, they may not serve alcoholic beverages between 6-8 PM.

– Curfew between 11:00 PM – 6:00 AM.

3. From December 23rd to January 6th, travel in and out of Andalucía is permitted to visit relatives.

4. On December 24th and 31st, people are allowed to stay out until 1:30 AM. Restaurants may remain open until 1:00 AM.

5. Gatherings of up to 10 people are permitted in homes on the following days:

– December 24, 25, and 31

– January 1
