The Andalusian government has decided to provide rental support for sole proprietors, Autónomo, who meet certain requirements as outlined below. The support amount is €900. For entrepreneurs in the nightlife and childcare sectors, the rental support is €1,200.

The grant is intended to cover rental costs for the premises where the business is conducted.

Requirements

• • Business operations are conducted at an address in Andalucía.
• • Registration with Seguridad Social no later than March 14, when the state of alarm came into effect, and must be registered for at least 4 months from the date of application for the grant.
• • The taxable income for 2019 must not exceed €41,357.74 for individual taxation or €52,637.13 for joint taxation.
• • Self-employed individuals, Autónomo, with SL companies (autónomos societarios) cannot apply for the grant.
• • The entrepreneur must be a tenant in the business premises or facilities where they conduct their operations, and the deposit paid must be lodged with the Andalusian Government.
• • If the entrepreneur conducts business in a space that is part of their residence, the grant cannot be awarded.

Other

Applications can only be made electronically and it may take up to two months to receive a decision on whether the grant is approved. The applicant must sign a document certifying that the requirements for the grant are met, especially the requirement that the deposit is lodged with the Andalusian government. The approved grant is deposited into the applicant’s bank account.
